Goral.

Goral is a fourth-generation, family-run shoemaker with roots dating back to 1936. Originally established as a small family workshop in Poland, the business was built on generations of shoemaking knowledge and a simple belief in doing things properly. In 2005, the family moved both home and craft to Sheffield, a city renowned for its industrial heritage and tradition of skilled British manufacturing.

Today, Goral operates from its Sheffield workshop, where a team of around 40 skilled craftspeople produce footwear using traditional techniques refined over decades. Many members of the team have been with the company for more than 20 years, bringing an exceptional depth of experience to every pair. Each shoe passes through more than 200 individual stages, from pattern cutting and clicking to skiving, closing, lasting, stitching and final inspection.

The Goral collection at Jeanstore reflects this heritage-led approach, bringing together timeless footwear designed for long-term wear. Rather than following a fast-moving seasonal calendar, Goral focuses on considered styles made in small batches, with every pair designed to be resoled, rebuilt and worn for years.

Materials are selected with equal care. Goral works with premium leathers including Horween Chromexcel, Shell Cordovan and C.F. Stead suede, chosen for their durability, texture and ability to develop a rich patina. The result is British-made footwear defined by honest construction, skilled craftsmanship and enduring character.

Goral at Jeanstore

The Goral collection at Jeanstore brings together footwear that reflects this long-standing commitment to craftsmanship, quality materials and enduring design. Produced in the brand’s Sheffield workshop by a team of around 40 skilled craftspeople, each pair passes through more than 200 individual stages, including pattern cutting, clicking, skiving, closing, lasting, stitching and final inspection.

Rather than chasing short-lived trends, Goral focuses on timeless silhouettes designed to be worn for years. The collection combines traditional shoemaking with a clean, contemporary approach, resulting in footwear that feels considered, versatile and built for everyday use. Every pair is also designed with resoling and rebuilding in mind, allowing the shoes to gain character and patina through continued wear.

Materials are chosen with the same care as the construction. Goral works with premium leathers including Horween Chromexcel, Shell Cordovan and C.F. Stead suede, selected for their durability, texture and ability to age beautifully.

At Jeanstore, Goral represents a more thoughtful approach to footwear: British-made, small-batch shoes shaped by skilled hands, premium materials and generations of knowledge, with every pair designed to be worn, maintained and enjoyed for the long term.
