Men's Briefs.

Shop men’s briefs from Hemen Biarritz and TA-CT, including Etor briefs, Denali linen briefs and Teleno mini briefs. Choose plain black, white, navy, grey and green, alongside wine red, rust and Breton stripes. Compare fuller shapes with lower-cut styles, checking the waistband, leg openings and fabric composition for your preferred fit. These underwear briefs offer an alternative to boxer briefs, with less fabric around the thighs.

Choosing men’s briefs

Briefs leave the thighs uncovered, making them an option if you prefer underwear without fabric extending down the leg. The shape still varies between designs: compare the height of the waistband, coverage at the sides and cut of the leg openings.

This collection includes Hemen Biarritz Etor briefs alongside TA-CT Denali linen briefs and Teleno linen mini briefs.

Classic briefs or mini briefs?

Start with how much coverage you prefer. Compare the broader side panels of the Denali with the narrower sides of the Teleno mini brief. Product photographs help show where each design sits around the hips and how high the leg openings are cut.

A smaller cut isn’t a reason to buy a larger size. Use the brand’s size guide to choose your waist size, then select the shape that gives you the coverage you want.

Fabric and waistband details

Check the composition of the particular pair, especially when moving between brands. TA-CT’s linen styles offer a different fabric option to compare with the Hemen Biarritz range.

Look at the waistband and seams as well. These sit against your skin throughout the day, so consider the construction you already find comfortable. The waistband should stay in place without digging in, and the leg openings shouldn’t pinch when you sit or move.

Plain colours and Breton stripes

Black, navy, grey and off-white briefs offer straightforward everyday choices. Green, wine red and rust add colour, while Hemen Biarritz Breton stripes combine contrasting shades such as natural and marine or deep marine and red.

If you wear light-coloured trousers, consider whether darker colours or stripes will show through the fabric.

What’s the difference between briefs and boxer briefs?

Briefs finish around the groin and leave the thighs uncovered. Boxer briefs extend down the upper leg. Neither shape suits everyone: choose briefs if you prefer less leg coverage, or browse our men’s boxer briefs if you want a longer cut.

How should men’s briefs fit?

They should sit securely at the waist and provide comfortable coverage without pulling tightly at the front or seat. Check your waist measurement against the product’s size guide, particularly when trying a new brand. If the waistband fits but the leg openings feel restrictive, another cut may suit you better.

How should I wash them?

Follow the care label for each pair rather than using the same settings for every fabric. Wash similar colours together and check the recommended temperature and drying method, particularly for linen styles.
