Rooted in the Cléon family manufacture, the brand traces its heritage back to shoemaker René Cléon, whose commitment to well-made, dependable footwear established the foundations for the company that would later become Kleman.

Officially launched in 1988, Kleman built its reputation producing robust professional footwear for major French institutions including Air France, fire departments and the French army. This demanding background has helped define the brand’s approach to quality, with durability, comfort and practical construction remaining central to every pair.

Kleman footwear continues to be manufactured exclusively in France at the company’s workshop in Anjou. Long-established shoemaking expertise is combined with modern production methods to create shoes built for lasting wear, while many of the brand’s iconic models meet professional footwear standards.

Our Kleman collection includes timeless derbies, boots and workwear-inspired footwear, including enduring silhouettes such as the Padror. What is your returns policy?

You can return your order within 30 days of delivery. We can offer a full refund, exchange or store credit.

Exchanges are free on all orders.

Refunds will incur a £2.99 charge towards the returns label, which will be deducted from the refund - with the exception of Jeanstore Unlimited members for whom refunds are also free. Standard delivery charges will also be refunded.

International returns will need to be returned at your own expense.

What is Jeanstore Unlimited?

Jeanstore Unlimited is a 12-month subscription available to purchase from your basket before placing an order.

For just £19 per year, you will get the following benefits:

How long does delivery take?

We offer UK delivery via both Royal Mail and DPD. You will have three different speed delivery options available at checkout, each giving an estimated delivery date.

Next day delivery is available via DPD for orders placed before 3pm (excluding weekends and bank holidays.)

International delivery times vary - the delivery speed will be shown when you select your delivery country at checkout.

Do I pay tax and duties on international orders?

For international customers, UK VAT has removed from the prices you see on our website. After you enter your delivery address at checkout, all local taxes and duties will be added to the total and we pay these in advance for you.

This means there are no extra charges before delivery and no nasty surprises!
