Fracap at Jeanstore brings together handcrafted Italian boots made with quality, comfort and lasting character in mind. The brand is best known for the Magnifico boot, originally designed by Alfredo Cappello as a durable and comfortable boot for both mountain use and everyday wear.

Each pair is handmade in Italy by Antonio and Michele Cappello using carefully selected Italian vegetable-tanned calf leather. Made from one large piece of leather, Fracap boots have a distinctive feel, with natural irregularities forming part of their handmade character rather than flaws.

The construction is designed for strength, comfort and long-term wear. Leather linings and Italian cuoio leather insoles allow the foot to breathe naturally, while the traditional stitching method gives durability without sacrificing comfort. The outsole is shaped by hand, and the boots can be resoled when needed.

The same mould once designed for the Italian army is still used, giving Fracap boots their distinctive shape and renowned comfort, while the resoleable outsole construction adds long-term wearability.

What is your returns policy?

You can return your order within 30 days of delivery. We can offer a full refund, exchange or store credit.

Exchanges are free on all orders.

Refunds will incur a £2.99 charge towards the returns label, which will be deducted from the refund - with the exception of Jeanstore Unlimited members for whom refunds are also free. Standard delivery charges will also be refunded.

International returns will need to be returned at your own expense.

What is Jeanstore Unlimited?

Jeanstore Unlimited is a 12-month subscription available to purchase from your basket before placing an order.

For just £19 per year, you will get the following benefits:

How long does delivery take?

We offer UK delivery via both Royal Mail and DPD. You will have three different speed delivery options available at checkout, each giving an estimated delivery date.

Next day delivery is available via DPD for orders placed before 3pm (excluding weekends and bank holidays.)

International delivery times vary - the delivery speed will be shown when you select your delivery country at checkout.

Do I pay tax and duties on international orders?

For international customers, UK VAT has removed from the prices you see on our website. After you enter your delivery address at checkout, all local taxes and duties will be added to the total and we pay these in advance for you.

This means there are no extra charges before delivery and no nasty surprises!
