General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between us and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions.

Failure by us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

Customer Orders

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To order goods over the telephone or on our website, you must accept delivery within the UK or Republic of Ireland, the European Union or the rest of the world. We reserve the right to cancel an order which we feel may pose a risk of fraud. All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail.

Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been dispatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail). We also reserve the right to cancel your order without informing you.

When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.

Prices

The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged.

We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.

From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it from a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving on it through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative.

On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in-store. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our store is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from those in-store.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.

Order Processing

Your order is sent directly to our secure system for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this within 24 hours providing the goods are in stock, however sometimes we may need to order your item from our suppliers. If this is the case, a "pre-order" button will replace the "add to bag" button when selecting your size.

During busy periods we offer no guarantee on dispatch times and delivery times.

You can track the progress of your order at any time by logging into My Account from the Home page on this website.

Delivery

Xmas delivery last order dates:

Items in stock: 23:59 on Thursday 20th December 2018.
Pre-order items: 23:59 on Friday 14th December 2018.

Pre-Christmas delivery may still be possible after these dates, but cannot be guaranteed.
Next day delivery is available for in-stock items for an extra charge, please call our customer services on 01903 533099 for this service.

If the size you select is in stock, an "add to bag" button will be displayed.
If the size you select is out of stock, but we are able to order it in for you, a "pre-order" button will be displayed.

Items in stock - 2-3 working days UK delivery

Items available to pre-order - 3-10 working days UK delivery (approx.)

Shipping to Europe - 5-7 working days delivery

Shipping to rest of World - 5-14 working days delivery

 

For UK orders over £100, we offer FREE DELIVERY. For all orders under £100, delivery is charged at £3.99. All orders will be processed within 24 hours of receipt.

All UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail. All orders will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which is a 2-3 working day delivery from dispatch. Please enter your contact details at checkout for shipping and tracking notifications.

Items available to pre-order can take between 3-10 working days to arrive, depending on availability from our suppliers. 
Please contact us for an accurate delivery estimate if your item is shown as "pre-order" and you need the product urgently.

If you order a combination of in-stock and pre-order items, we will ship individual items as soon as they become available.

Next day delivery is available at an extra cost, providing your item is in stock. Please call us on 01903 533099 for this service, we will make this feature available online shortly.

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for initial delivery and will be liable for the cost of the return postage.

International orders from within the European Union (EU) will be charged at £7.99. All EU orders will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, which typically takes 5-7 working days to arrive from dispatch.

International orders from outside the European Union (Rest Of World) will be charged at £14.99 per item. All International (Rest Of World) orders will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, which typically takes 5-14 working days to arrive from dispatch.

We use Royal Mail to dispatch our orders. All items are insured so if they are lost in postal transit, your money is guaranteed at all times. If this is the case, we will file a claim for missing goods with Royal Mail and upon completion of the claim we will either re-send the goods or refund the full amount to your card. Please be aware this process can take up to 21 days, as we have to give Royal Mail sufficient time to search for your missing parcel.

We will only deliver goods to the address on the order to protect against fraud - however you can change your delivery address before completing your order if you wish to have your order delivered to your workplace or elsewhere.

 

Availability 

All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colours. If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier.

On occasions goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

XMAS EXTENDED RETURNS POLICY:

Any items purchased between 23 November - 25 December 2018 can be returned up until 31 January 2019.

If you wish to return your order, we offer a refund or an exchange if it is sent back in new, resaleable condition within 30 days. 

Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used (card, paypal or amazon pay).

To speed up the exchange process, if you request an exchange we will email you a gift card code upon receipt of your return, which you can then use to place a new order for the item you require.

When returning an item to us, we suggest for your own protection you use registered post so your return can be tracked in transit. Any refund or exchange credit will be issued once we have received the goods, in the original condition. This refund only includes the total of goods sent, not the delivery charge. Unless an error has been made on our part, or the item is faulty, the customer will be liable for the cost of the return postage. 

We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.

Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded. If this is the case we may request pictures of the item before authorising your return. If your item is deemed to be defective or we have sent you the wrong item, we will issue a pre-paid returns label for you to return the item.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Jean Store is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR).

Jean Store is the trading name of Dee Dee Retail Limited (UK company number 04457423).
Jean Store collects your information on behalf of Dee Dee Retail Limited, for use by Dee Dee Retail Limited.
We do not pass your personal information on to third parties.

All transactions that you initiate with Dee Dee Retail Ltd. on this web site are confidential. Your name will not be added to any third party mailing lists. By opting in to marketing when placing an order, or subscribing to our newsletter, you are opting in to infrequent, promotional emails from Jean Store only, but you can opt out of these at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of these emails.
Please note, if you do not opt-in to marketing communications, we may still contact you via email or telephone regarding any order you place with us.

We may store name and address details you provide us, as well as your purchasing history, but we never store card details or any highly-sensitive information. All payments are collected by our two payment providers (SagePay & PayPal) and at no point do we ever have access to see the full card details.

The Data Protection Act & GDPR

Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018, we have a duty to protect any information we collect from you. It will not be disclosed to any other organisation unless you give explicit permission, or there is a legal obligation to do so. We collect information about you for two main reasons:

To process your online order.
To provide you with the most efficient possible service.
The information collected will be used to personally keep in touch and let you know of any offers, sales or promotions that Jean Store are carrying out (if you have selected to receive these emails/newsletters). You have the right to opt out of email marketing at any time.
Your data may be stored on our systems for 10 years, for the above purposes, or until you withdraw consent for us to process your data.

Right To Request Information & Withdrawal Of Consent

In line with GDPR, you have a right to request a copy of any personal data held by Jean Store at any time, in order to check its accuracy. You also have the right to request removal of all data we hold for you on our systems. Please contact admin@jeanstore.co.uk should you wish to do this.

Changes To This Policy

This privacy policy will change from time to time as we develop the range of services on the website. When this privacy policy changes, we will place an updated version on this page. Regularly reviewing this page ensures that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with other parties. You should always check the privacy policy before using this site, even if you have visited it in the past. This ensures that you will be aware of any changes.
