The Wonder Looper ELS natural hand dye crewneck T-shirt is a richly textured jersey piece built around Japanese fabric development and traditional Amami dyeing. Cut with a modern athletic fit, it has a clean everyday shape with enough substance to feel premium while remaining comfortable for regular wear.

Made in Japan from 280gsm cotton jersey, the fabric blends recycled cotton gathered during yarn spinning, offcuts from Double Heavyweight T-shirts and extra-long staple cotton. Knitted at low tension and slow speed, it develops a soft, bouncy handle with a rich slubby texture throughout. That texture works beautifully with natural dyeing, as the fabric absorbs colour at slightly different rates, creating natural depth and variation across each garment.

Hand-dyed in Amami, an island chain in southern Japan with a centuries-old dyeing tradition, this T-shirt uses dye from the native Sharinbai tree, whose wood produces a warm, rosy tone. Each piece is dyed by artisans using traditional methods passed down through generations, allowing the natural colour to settle into the slub texture of the fabric rather than sitting flat on the surface. The result is a richly nuanced finish with subtle tonal variation, making every T-shirt naturally individual.
