Description

Jackman Umps Pants take inspiration from classic umpire trousers, with a large pocket running from the waist to the hips. They offer a relaxed fit through the top block with a strong taper from the knee, finished with an elasticated waist and drawcord for easy everyday wear.

The fabric is a dry cotton blend using cotton from the USA and Australia. The yarn is carefully spun to create natural neps during the carding process, giving the cloth a rustic, textured character. Because nep yarn is more delicate than standard yarn, it is woven on an old-fashioned rapier loom, allowing the fabric to be produced with the strength and control required for this uneven yarn.
