The idea behind Service Works comes from real hospitality experience. Growing up in a family-run hospitality business, the founder spent his early working life in kitchens, cleaning, prepping and eventually cooking. Chef trousers became part of daily life, worn not only at work but also outside the kitchen and while skating. Service Works is a homage to that easy, functional style.

Service Works at Jeanstore

Service Works was born in 2020 out of a love for elasticated waists and good food, taking the practicality of classic chef trousers and adapting it for everyday life beyond the kitchen. Founded from personal experience in a family-run hospitality business, the brand draws directly from time spent cleaning, prepping and cooking, with the idea shaped by chef trousers that proved just as useful outside work as they were in it. That gives Service Works a clear identity: functional clothing rooted in the kitchen, reworked for daily wear with genuine purpose.

At the heart of the collection is a respect for the classic chef trouser, but with a stronger emphasis on carefully sourced fabrics and everyday versatility. The Classics range keeps the familiar features of traditional chef trousers while using heavier weight organic fabrics suited to regular wear, while the Trade trouser offers the same easy fit in a lighter, kitchen-friendly recycled polycotton. Made with manufacturing partners in India, Service Works also reflects a commitment to supporting talent within the garment industry and working closely with independent businesses and passionate individuals.

What is your returns policy?

You can return your order within 30 days of delivery. We can offer a full refund, exchange or store credit.

Exchanges are free on all orders.

Refunds will incur a £2.99 charge towards the returns label, which will be deducted from the refund - with the exception of Jeanstore Unlimited members for whom refunds are also free. Standard delivery charges will also be refunded.

International returns will need to be returned at your own expense.

What is Jeanstore Unlimited?

Jeanstore Unlimited is a 12-month subscription available to purchase from your basket before placing an order.

For just £19 per year, you will get the following benefits:

Free returns on all orders
Early access to VIP sales

Jeanstore Unlimited does not auto-renew.
Only available within the UK.

How long does delivery take?

We offer UK delivery via both Royal Mail and DPD. You will have three different speed delivery options available at checkout, each giving an estimated delivery date.

Next day delivery is available via DPD for orders placed before 3pm (excluding weekends and bank holidays.)

International delivery times vary - the delivery speed will be shown when you select your delivery country at checkout.

Do I pay tax and duties on international orders?

For international customers, UK VAT has removed from the prices you see on our website. After you enter your delivery address at checkout, all local taxes and duties will be added to the total and we pay these in advance for you.

This means there are no extra charges before delivery and no nasty surprises!
