The All Handsewn Maine Guide 6-Eye DB Boots in Crazy Horse cow leather stand at the pinnacle of Yuketen’s hand-sewn moccasin craft. Inspired by the wilderness guides of New England and the moccasin traditions shaped through early encounters between European settlers and Native American hunters, these boots embody a lineage of comfort, protection and natural fit. Each pair is meticulously handcrafted in Maine, USA, using Yuketen’s proprietary 1950s moccasin last — widely regarded as one of the finest lasts ever developed for American-made moccasins.
To achieve a molded, foot-hugging fit, multiple leather components are hand-lasted and hand-sewn, with the vamp cinched at the base for enhanced conformity. The genuine moccasin construction is paired with Yuketen’s demanding double-bottom specification, ensuring durability and pliant support. Underfoot, nine layers of rubber and leather — including a grade-leather midsole, a rubber midsole, and Vibram’s USA-made Christy sole — provide cushioning and long-wearing grip. A steel shank reinforces arch and heel support, distributing weight more evenly and reducing fatigue.
Inside, a full leather insole, leather tuck, memory foam and arch support work together to create a deeply comfortable, supportive platform that adapts over time. Genuine cowhide leather laces and premium materials throughout underscore the care taken in every stage of construction.
