The PORTER HEAT series embodies rugged utility and refined design, built from durable, water-resistant materials that stand up to heavy use. Since its introduction in Autumn/Winter 2001, the series has become a core part of PORTER’s lineup, spanning business, travel, and everyday carry items, all unified by their blacked-out aesthetic and functional detailing.

This tote bag is constructed from Japanese-made varistor nylon oxford, woven from 66 nylon yarn — a material prized for its exceptional resistance to heat, friction, and tearing, and also used in airbags and bulletproof vests. Industrial tarpaulin and coated polyester panels add contrast, both in strength and in texture. The PALS webbing system runs throughout, allowing the attachment of pouches and small accessories, while D-rings and double rings provide further options for carabiners or chains. Reinforced with thick nylon tape to maintain structure, the bag retains a crisp, three-dimensional shape. As part of the HEAT series, it comes with a detachable leather keychain and a PORTER-engraved Maglite, supplied with its case, battery, and accessories.
