The 1966 Jungle Short is a faithful military-inspired short based on the Tropical Combat Uniform worn by U.S. soldiers during the Vietnam War. Designed for hot, demanding conditions, it combines a loose authentic fit with highly practical detailing, making it a strong example of functional military clothing that continues to influence workwear and outdoor design today.

Made from lightweight 100% cotton poplin, the fabric reflects the character of the original tropical uniform cloth, offering a balance of breathability, durability and everyday comfort. This second-version pattern features concealed button plackets and waist adjusters in line with the original design, while the large leg pocket, smaller internal pocket on the left leg and maker’s stamp reinforce its utilitarian military character.
