The Pike Brothers 1943 C2 Merino Wool Sweater in Olive Drab is based on the first USAAF approach to a pilot layering system. Designed as an additional insulation layer beneath the A2 flight leather jacket, it combines military utility with a clean, functional cold-weather silhouette.

Crafted from 100% merino wool, the sweater offers natural warmth, softness and breathability. A slim fit and raglan sleeves provide freedom of movement under outerwear, while the Talon zipper, front pocket and authentic spec label complete the piece with period-correct aviation detail.
