Description
Part of the Pendleton Journey West collection, this shirt draws inspiration from the story of Thomas Kay, the Sheffield-born textile pioneer who travelled to the Pacific Northwest of America in the early 1860s in search of new weaving opportunities. After settling in Oregon, Kay established the Kay Woollen Mill, which quickly became one of the largest mills in the American West. The Journey West collection celebrates that legacy through classic workwear and leisurewear silhouettes combined with archive Pendleton patterns.
Made from lightweight 100% cotton, the shirt uses a 155 GSM yarn-dyed checked fabric that feels breathable and well suited to warmer weather. The design features a traditional button-down collar and horn buttons, with the checked pattern drawn directly from Pendleton’s original USA archives. Cut in a regular fit, it offers an easy, everyday shape that works well across casual summer outfits.
