The Avoriaz boot is a French-made icon, first designed in the 1960s as a technical approach boot for mountaineers and revived in the 1990s from the brand’s archives. Inspired by mountain hikes of the ’60s and ’80s, it has been reimagined today for an urban lifestyle while retaining its authentic craftsmanship. Its slim shape, low lacing, and padded collar allow the boot to fit closely to the foot, offering both comfort and protection. Originally built to prevent slips and absorb shocks with its notched sole, it remains just as practical and durable in modern wear.

Crafted from smooth cowhide leather with full leather lining, the Avoriaz is constructed using traditional Norwegian stitching – a technique that provides exceptional strength and water resistance. It’s set on a natural gum rubber sole (Forme Jannu marron) for traction and flexibility, and completed with 4 eyelets, 3 hooks, and beige mountain laces. A true heritage boot, still made in France, it reflects decades of expertise and enduring style.
