Naked & Famous Denim’s Maekake Dobby True Guy in Indigo is a straight-leg jean built around a distinctive Japanese workwear-inspired fabric. The True Guy fit has a regular rise with extra room in the seat and thigh, falling straight from knee to hem for a clean, comfortable shape with plenty of everyday wearability.

Made in Canada from 12.2oz Japanese dobby fabric, the cloth takes inspiration from traditional maekake aprons worn by sake merchants and labourers. Historically woven densely for protection against sharp tools, heat and heavy use, this modern version keeps that sturdy structure while being fabric-rinsed for a softer feel from first wear. The rinse also highlights the layered indigo tones, allowing subtle gradients to develop over time, while the Horween Cavalier Ink Blue Chromexcel leather patch adds a richly hued detail designed to age alongside the fabric.
