One of Loake's most versatile shoe lasts, Capital is used for several of the 1880 styles from formal shoes such as the ‘Aldwych’ toe cap Oxford to boots such as ‘Pimlico’ and ‘Hyde’. It is a medium width last with a slight chisel shape to the toe and runs true to size. Capital has been a popular choice with Loake customers since its introduction, currently nine styles are made on this last.

Since 1880, Loake Shoemakers has produced some of the world’s finest footwear from their Wood Street factory in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Family-owned since the very beginning, Loake are proud of their history and heritage as traditional shoemakers.
The famous Goodyear construction for which Loake are known is a traditional and intricate process, with origins that can be traced back over 300 years. Only the very highest quality materials are used, and it's estimated that over 60 million pairs of Loake goodyear welted shoes have been produced since they began.
