The Levi’s Baggy Dad Jorts take that same borrowed-from-the-wardrobe jort shape and give it a lighter, softer warm-weather feel. Relaxed with a baggy fit, a mid rise and an above-the-knee cut, they have the sort of easy summer silhouette that looks casual without feeling messy. They still carry that vintage-inspired edge, but the lighter cloth gives them a more fluid, breathable feel that suits hot days especially well.
Made from lightweight non-stretch denim with a blend of cotton and Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell, this pair is designed to feel airy, breathable and easy to wear while keeping the look of classic denim intact.
The softer handle gives them a more relaxed drape than a heavier jort, while the zip fly and five-pocket styling keep the construction rooted in familiar Levi’s denim details.

In 1852, Levi Strauss, an immigrant from Bavaria, opened a dry goods company in San Francisco at the height of the California Gold Rush. While he was working, he recognized a need among hardworking people: clothes built to endure anything. He and tailor Jacob Davis combined copper rivet reinforcements with tough denim, leading to the first manufactured waist overalls in 1873. Today, we call them "blue jeans."
