It has all the core features of a traditional work jacket: a straight fit, three patch pockets, a French button placket with natural corozo buttons, it's unlined, lapped seams with two-needle stitching to make it really hard-wearing. On the inside of these work jackets you'll find a hand-numbered label which makes it really unique.
While the fabric is woven in France, the final assembly of the jacket is done in European workshops, where a commitment to excellence and ethical standards is paramount. This combination not only guarantees superior quality but also supports a European craftsmanship economy.
The fabric of the jacket, 100% cotton moleskin, is woven in France in a workshop that has been perpetuating traditional craftsmanship for over a hundred years. Known for its high resistance and water-repellent properties, this material ensures exceptional durability for the jacket. It requires easy care, needing only a wash at 30°C and air drying to maintain its quality over time.

Le Mont St Michel is a young brand with a long history. Specialising in everlasting Workwear since 1913, the brand was taken over in 1998 by Alexandre Milan who turned it into a urban & modern fashion label, yet in line with the functional soul coming from its workwear legacy. Alexandre Milan added to this legacy his own family craftsmanship - which is almost as old : the legacy of Les Tricotages de L'Aa ("Aa Knitting Factory"), factory founded by his great grandmother in 1919.
Today, Le Mont St Michel embodies the French paradox’s charm. A unique and effortless style which never compromises on quality. A strong story that keeps on reinventing itself through the cosmopolitan tribe which wears it. The brand wish to reconnect with the pleasure created by a perfect and rare product, ancient techniques that they reinvent, and beautiful yarns.
