These elegant hand-bound notebooks are a true expression of Japanese craftsmanship, blending tradition with thoughtful design. Each notebook is screen printed and finished with delicate gold leaf detailing, with cover phrases presented in both hiragana and kanji—offering a refined way to reflect your mood or intention. Designed by Sebastian Conran, the phrases were chosen from words that resonated with him during his time in Japan.
Inside, each of the 52 pages features a unique sheet of traditional Mino washi paper, handcrafted in Gifu Prefecture using methods preserved for over 1,300 years. Renowned for its softness, strength, and translucency, Mino washi makes these notebooks ideal for writing, sketching, or journaling—inviting a sensory experience with every page turn.
