This Japanese-crafted spade brings a refined, mindful touch to the gardening ritual. Designed as part of the Les Petites Mains series by ikebana master Keiko Yoshino, it balances practical garden use with a beautifully considered sense of form, making it ideal for daily planting, tending and gifting.

Handmade in Tsubame Sanjo, Japan, a region celebrated for its long metalworking heritage, the spade features a carbon stainless steel blade for strength and efficient digging, finished with a clean white enamel coating. The handle is made from sustainable beech wood sourced through Niigata’s Snow Beech Project, while traditional washi-paper packaging adds a final note of Japanese craft and ceremony.
