Handmade in Tsubame Sanjo, a region renowned for its 400-year legacy in metalwork, the spade features a stainless steel blade enriched with carbon for superior strength and digging efficiency—then coated in white enamel for a clean finish that contrasts beautifully with earth and greenery. The handle is crafted from beech wood sourced through Niigata’s Snow Beech Project, an initiative that restores underused forest resources and supports local communities.
