Constructed from Filson's iconic 14oz oil-finish Tin Cloth, the main body uses tightly woven cotton duck canvas saturated with a paraffin wax formulation to provide excellent water repellency. Heavy-duty 2-ply by 3-ply cotton Rugged Twill reinforces the back panel and base, adding structure and resistance to everyday wear. The padded Tin Cloth shoulder straps are lined with soft cotton Moleskin for improved comfort, breathability and grip, while adjustment straps are crafted from vegetable-tanned Bridle Leather produced by Wickett & Craig, the historic Pennsylvania tannery established in 1867. A protective Tin Cloth gutter shields the main zip from moisture, and the fully lined interior provides additional protection for belongings.
