Description

The Porter-Yoshida & Co. Mile Vertical Shoulder Bag is inspired by American tool bags and work aprons from the 1940s and 50s, bringing vintage utility character into a compact everyday carry piece. Sized for essentials such as a wallet and smartphone, it offers a practical vertical shape that works easily for daily use.

Made in Japan from nylon cotton twill, the outer fabric has a lightweight military feel with a subtle sheen created by the nylon threads on the surface. After sewing, the bag is washed so the outer and inner fabrics shrink differently, creating rippling, wrinkling and puckering that recalls vintage workwear. Shiny plated metal fittings add a refined contrast, while the cushioned handle is designed to mould to the hand with use. Finished with a removable adjustable shoulder strap, front zip pocket and internal storage compartment.
