The Big John Selvedge Chambray Work Shirt is a classic work shirt made in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture. Built with a traditional workwear shape and sturdy construction, it offers a light, comfortable feel with the texture and character expected from Japanese heritage shirting.

Crafted from 5oz selvedge chambray, the fabric is slowly woven on an early Showa-period power loom at a historic machine shop in the Bitchu area. Both the warp and weft yarns are uneven, creating natural texture and allowing the indigo colour to fade beautifully with wear. Finished with durable triple-stitch sewing and natural Takase shell buttons, this is a refined take on a long-lasting work shirt.
