Handmade in England from full-grain oak bark tanned leather, this belt is the result of a slow, traditional 12-month tanning process that enhances the strength, resilience, and natural character of the hide. This heavyweight belt is finished with a solid brass buckle, hand-cast using time-honoured sandcasting methods by expert British metalworkers. Available in antique nickel or matte brass finishes, the buckle adds a refined yet rugged touch. Each belt is handmade to order using the strongest section of the hide, and is supplied with a 5ml bottle of neatsfoot oil for care and conditioning. Barnes and Moore make their goods the traditional way. With all products handcrafted at their workshop in England, the brand choose to undertake each process by hand, as only these time tested methods will produce results that they can be happy with, and goods that they're proud to put their name to.
Each belt the brand make goes through 11 different processes before it is boxed and delivered. Each one is made by hand, using traditional skills and tools. The buckles are crafted by hand by a small foundry, who make them using traditional techniques dating back hundreds of years. Every buckle is hand finished and made to last a lifetime. Offering a wide range of premium leather goods including wallets, belts and other leather accessories, you simply will not find any better made than this.
