What makes the Brown Fox Selvedge so special
What sets the Brown Fox Selvedge apart is that its colour and character come straight from nature. The warm brown hue isn’t dyed or bleached - it’s the natural shade of FoxFibre® cotton, grown organically in California by Sally Fox.
Through decades of careful breeding, she created long-staple, naturally pigmented cotton that removes the need for chemical dyes altogether.
This cotton is grown using regenerative organic farming methods, which means the soil, the ecosystem, and the cotton plants all support one another, creating a fabric that’s as environmentally responsible as it is beautiful.
Once harvested, the fibres are spun in Osaka and woven in Okayama, Japan — regions world-renowned for denim craftsmanship. The fabric combines undyed natural warp yarns with naturally brown weft yarns, producing subtle surface variations and a rich, earthy tone. At 13oz, it’s sturdy yet soft, designed to age gracefully and develop a deep, individual patina with wear.

The jeans
The Brown Fox Selvedge Jeans are available at Jeanstore in two fits: Weird Guy and True Guy.
Weird Guy is a standard tapered fit with a medium rise, a comfortable top block, and a clean taper from knee to hem.
True Guy offers a straight fit with more room through the leg, giving a classic shape and an easy, relaxed feel.
Each pair allows the natural character of FoxFibre® cotton to take centre stage, showcasing the authentic, earthy beauty of this undyed fabric.
The jacket
Completing the collection, the Brown Fox Selvedge Denim Jacket features the same 13oz Japanese selvedge fabric.
It’s a timeless cut that fits comfortably through the chest and arms, with practical details including slash front pockets, inner pocket bags, and chest flap pockets.
Like the jeans, the jacket will darken and soften over time, developing a unique, lived-in patina that reflects the wearer’s journey.
