Shepherd Slippers.

Explore Shepherd of Sweden slippers in sheepskin, wool and suede, including Anton, Hugo, Richard, Bosse, Jon and Pedro styles. Choose from enclosed slippers and open-back mules, with colours ranging from Antique Cognac and dark brown Moro to Stone, grey and black. Compare the shape, materials and sizing of each pair to find slippers that suit how you like to wear them around the house.

Choosing Your Shepherd Slippers

Shepherd sheepskin slippers, wool styles and suede mules

The Shepherd slipper collection includes several different materials and shapes. Anton, Hugo, Richard and Bosse are listed as sheepskin slippers, while Jon offers a wool option and Pedro comes in brown or taupe suede.

Start with the material and amount of coverage you prefer. Look at the upper, lining and footbed details separately: a suede outer does not tell you what is inside, and wool slippers should not automatically be treated as the same construction as sheepskin slippers.

Open-back mules or enclosed slippers?

Open-back slippers are convenient when you want to slip a pair on and off. A design that covers the heel gives more coverage around the foot. Compare the rear opening and height around the ankle as well as the shape of the toe.

The Pedro mule adds another option alongside the sheepskin and wool styles. Check each model’s sole and intended use before choosing it for trips outside; appearance alone does not establish whether a slipper is suitable for outdoor wear.

Finding the right size

Check the size guide on your chosen Shepherd slippers, particularly when converting between UK and European sizes. Allow space for your toes without choosing a pair so loose that you need to grip with your feet to keep it on.

For an open-back style, your heel should sit fully on the footbed. Think about whether you will wear socks, too, as a thick pair can change the fit across the instep. Follow the advice for the individual model rather than assuming every Shepherd style fits identically.

Cognac, stone, grey and black slippers

Antique Cognac brings a warm brown tone to the sheepskin selection, while Stone offers a lighter finish. Moro provides a darker option across several styles. Jon wool slippers include grey and black, and Pedro suede mules come in brown and taupe.

If you are replacing a favourite pair, check both the model name and colour. Different Shepherd styles can share a colour name while having a different opening, shape or finish.

Caring for Shepherd slippers

Check the care instructions for your particular pair before cleaning. Sheepskin, wool and suede can require different treatment, so a method suitable for one model may not suit another.

Let slippers air between wears and use only cleaning products recommended for their materials. Before machine washing or applying a stain treatment, consult the manufacturer’s instructions for the model.
