Pittari Knitwear.

Pittari Knitwear at Jeanstore brings together classic British design, carefully selected natural fibres and a strong commitment to quality manufacturing. Founded by Dean and Lisa Batty in 2023, Pittari draws on their extensive experience within the clothing industry to create knitwear that balances heritage character with comfortable, contemporary wearability.

Our Pittari Knitwear collection is centred around British and Irish yarns, including super-soft Yorkshire lambswool, Irish Donegal yarn, wool and silk blends and natural undyed wool. These materials give the collection its distinctive warmth, texture and depth while providing the breathability, durability and comfort associated with quality natural fibres.

Production takes place through Pittari’s own small factories, allowing the brand to remain closely involved with manufacturing and finishing. Each garment is hand finished, reflecting a considered approach that places material quality and construction ahead of passing trends.

The collection also extends into lighter knitwear using cotton and natural indigo-dyed cotton yarn, with Pittari developing its own cotton colours for a distinctive spring and summer palette.

Pittari Knitwear at Jeanstore offers an understated collection built around excellent yarns, skilled production and timeless design – comfortable, characterful knitwear intended to be worn and enjoyed for years.

Pittari Knitwear at Jeanstore

Pittari Knitwear at Jeanstore stands out for its exceptional use of distinctive British and Irish yarns, bringing texture, natural character and depth to every piece. Founded in 2023 by Dean and Lisa Batty, the brand draws on decades of experience in clothing, design and manufacturing, with fabric choice sitting right at the heart of the collection.

Super-soft Yorkshire lambswool, richly textured Irish Donegal yarn, refined wool and silk blends and naturally undyed wool give Pittari knitwear a particularly individual feel. Rather than relying on heavy branding, the character comes through the fibres themselves -from the subtle flecks and variations of Donegal yarn to the softness and warmth of lambswool and the natural tones found in undyed wool.

Pittari also takes a distinctive approach to warmer-weather knitwear. Its small factories work with natural indigo-dyed cotton yarn and the brand dyes its own cotton colours, allowing it to develop a unique palette. These carefully considered yarns bring the same depth and individuality to lighter knitwear as its wool fabrics do in colder months.

Produced through Pittari’s own small factories and carefully hand finished, the collection keeps design, yarn selection and manufacture closely connected. At Jeanstore, we have selected Pittari for the same qualities we value across our wider collection: exceptional fabrics, honest craftsmanship and pieces with genuine character. It is knitwear that sits naturally alongside premium denim, heritage clothing and well-made everyday staples, making Pittari a particularly strong fit for the Jeanstore wardrobe.
