The Vertical Slub Denim Wise Guy Jacket showcases a distinctive Japanese denim developed to highlight bold surface texture. Woven from 11.2oz denim, the fabric uses pronounced slub yarns in the warp paired with a deliberately flat weft yarn. This contrast allows the vertical slub texture to stand out clearly across the surface, giving the fabric depth and character from the very first wear.

The fabric has been rinsed in Japan to soften the hand and improve comfort straight away, while also helping the vertical slub texture appear earlier. As the denim ages, the textured warp yarns create increasingly expressive fades shaped by movement and wear. The Wise Guy Jacket features a relaxed, straight cut with slightly dropped shoulders and a boxy silhouette, finished with a clean collarless neckline and two large front patch pockets for a practical, utilitarian feel.
