Created to celebrate 50 years of the Carhartt Active Jacket, the OG Active Jacket 50th Anniversary Edition Leather brings a luxurious edge to one of the brand’s most enduring icons. This reversible design combines rugged heritage with refined craftsmanship, featuring premium midweight calf leather on one side and Carhartt’s signature organic cotton canvas in Hamilton Brown on the reverse. Retaining the brand’s original loose fit, the silhouette is boxy and slightly oversized, offering comfort and a timeless, workwear-inspired shape. Rib-knit trims at the cuffs and hem give it a cinched, bomber-style finish.
Each side of the jacket highlights a distinct personality: the leather side is clean and minimal with tonal bartack stitching at stress points, while the canvas side adds utilitarian detail with metal rivets, graphic embroidery, and commemorative 50th Anniversary patches. A special edition Square Label completes the design—honouring five decades of Carhartt’s enduring legacy in functional outerwear.

Carhartt WIP.
Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops its own collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of these robust American archetypes, while engaging with the subcultures that have embraced it. This, in turn, has seen Carhartt WIP place itself in a new context and bring forth its own classics.
Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and today operates over 80 brick and mortar locations worldwide. It also has its own skate team and music department, while supporting an array of artists and releasing various publications. Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has worked with a number of like-minded collaborators, including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike, Underground Resistance, and Motown.
