As the second skate shoe Vans ever made, the Old Skool moved far beyond skateboarding, becoming a fixture in subcultures shaped by style, sound and self-expression. This Hip-Hop Capsule nods to sought-after 2010s colourways with vibrant tones and gum soles, while keeping the familiar low-top Sidestripe™ profile refined for modern wear.

The updated Premium build enhances the classic shape with improved comfort, a more seamless fit and considered heritage details. A cow suede and 8oz canvas upper is paired with a full grain leather collar lining, padded collar, 100% cotton laces and a woven flag label. Gum sidewalls, higher foxing tape and Osnaburg-inspired outsole detailing reference original 1990s Vans construction, while a removable Sola Foam ADC insole, bio-based insoles and regenerative rubber outsoles bring all-day cushioning and a more sustainable finish.
