Description
This is a denim down jacket from Rocky Mountain Featherbed. This is the brand's signature model, featuring a single piece of yoke leather. The outer material is made of Japanese denim, which has been processed to give it the look of having been worn for several years. The lining is made of the original 70 denier nylon taffeta developed when Rocky Mountain Featherbed was revived.
The down used is water-repellent European down. Normally, down loses its heat-retaining power when it gets wet, but the down itself is treated with a water-repellent coating, allowing it to maintain its heat-retaining power even in bad weather. The down, which is made up of an exquisite mixture of 90% down and 10% feathers, boasts a high heat retention of 700FP, achieving amazing lightness and heat retention.
The leather used for the yoke is washable leather. This leather is highly durable while retaining the natural texture of the leather.
Made in Japan.
Due to the characteristics of natural leather, leather parts may have uneven colouring or scratches. This is a natural mark and is proof that the leather is natural. There are individual differences in texture, but please enjoy this as a characteristic of natural leather. The edges of the leather may stand up. Please understand that this is a design feature. If you are concerned about the leather drying out or hardening, use a leather care cream or similar to nourish it.
In order to make the most of the feathers' properties, the fabric needs to have a certain level of breathability. Therefore, feathers will inevitably blow out. If feathers blow out from the surface of the fabric, do not try to pull them out by force. Instead, pull the feathers from the back side and return them to the inside of the product.

Features
Rocky Mountain Featherbed
Rocky Mountain Featherbed was born in the late 1960s in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA - commonly known as the “Cowboy State.” The company's cowboy wear is based on the leather capes created by the wisdom of the Native Americans. Garments guarantee warmth and insulation like a blanket (FEATHERBED). The western yoke, made of a single piece of seamless leather, is an iconic piece of clothing.
The brand disappeared in the late 1980s. At the same time, one Japanese man, Kinji Teramoto, began collecting RMFC and later took over the brand. 20 years of research and prototyping have been repeated, and products that exceed the quality of the original were produced in 2005. Today, the original values are upheld, such as single-cut leather yokes and natural mouton collars, while adding a modern essence. As a result, unparalleled luxurious products are created, captivating people worldwide across generations.
