Description
Cut with a deep rise, relaxed thigh and a taper from below the knee to the hem, this silhouette balances ease with refinement. There’s room where it matters, then a clean line through the lower leg, creating a shape that feels relaxed yet composed.
The fabric is a 15oz “ORI-ZASHI” sashiko, double woven for substance and durability. It carries a reassuring weight, yet remains soft and surprisingly light to wear. The structure is robust enough for use in judo uniforms, speaking to its strength and resilience, while still offering comfort against the body.
The warp threads are rope dyed in the same way as traditional denim. The “white centre” construction leaves the core of the yarn undyed, meaning the surface gradually fades with wear. Over time, the fabric develops depth and character, revealing a rich, evolving patina unique to the wearer.
