Description
This master-piece series blends durability with refined utility, designed to function seamlessly across business and casual settings. The body is crafted from CORDURA Ballistic® Fabric 1680D nylon, a material stronger and more abrasion-resistant than standard nylon. Using twisted 840D yarns for both warp and weft enhances its tear and friction resistance. The fabric surface is treated with a water-repellent finish, while the reverse is PU-coated for added protection. Waterproof leather trims elevate durability and style, while premium YKK water-repellent zips — including AquaGuard fasteners at the front — secure the compartments against the elements.
The design prioritises functionality: the main compartment opens wide for easy access, with a full-side mesh zip pocket for organisation. A padded section accommodates laptops up to 15", with an additional sleeve for 13" devices. The front compartment includes partitioned pockets and a key holder, while an extra zip pocket sits at the lower front. Leather handles provide comfortable carry when used as either backpack or briefcase, and the shoulder straps feature attachment points for keys, carabiners, or a chest strap. The rear strap also allows the bag to slot securely onto a suitcase carry bar, making it highly versatile for commuting and travel.

At that time, the concept of creating bags specifically for men was just beginning to take shape, and during this formative period, Master–Piece carved out its own unique identity and persona. In 2008, they made a visionary move to create their own manufacturing facility. This strategic decision enabled Master–Piece to navigate challenges that many producers in developed countries encounter, such as securing production capabilities and skilled labour. Their apprentice craftsmen now work alongside seasoned "master craftsmen" from earlier generations, ensuring that the knowledge and essence of "Made in Japan" continue to thrive and be transmitted to future generations.
Master-Piece is a brand dedicated to creating products that expertly blend style and practicality. Originating from Osaka, Master-Piece bags showcase the precision of Japanese craftsmanship with a focus on durability and style in every detail. Each bag is produced in their own factory, and is entirely made in Japan.
