The Vancouver Corduroy Work Jacket revives a heritage fabric with a contemporary sensibility. Corduroy has been part of Le Mont Saint Michel’s story for generations, once worn as hard-working uniforms by earlier generations and now prized for its warmth, suppleness and easy elegance. This version uses an 8-wale corduroy — eight ribs per inch — giving the jacket a rich, tactile surface that feels substantial without being heavy, making it ideal for transitional weather.
Cut in a traditional work-jacket silhouette, it features a straight fit, three patch pockets, exposed button fastening with sturdy buttons, and an unlined construction that keeps the piece breathable and versatile. The fabric blend — 70% cotton, 15% polyamide, 11% modal and 4% elastane — offers softness, durability and a touch of stretch, enhancing comfort and movement. The corduroy itself is woven and dyed in the Mulhouse region by a historic manufacturer dating back to 1828, known for exceptional quality.
Designed to be lived in, the jacket is machine-washable at 30°C and simply requires air-drying. Washed separately, it retains its colour and texture beautifully. More than a garment, the Vancouver jacket carries forward a lineage of craftsmanship, balancing function, heritage and understated refinement.

Specialising in everlasting Workwear since 1913, the brand was taken over in 1998 by Alexandre Milan who turned it into a urban & modern fashion label, yet in line with the functional soul coming from its workwear legacy. Alexandre Milan added to this legacy his own family craftsmanship - which is almost as old : the legacy of Les Tricotages de L'Aa ("Aa Knitting Factory"), factory founded by his great grandmother in 1919.
Today, Le Mont St Michel embodies the French paradox’s charm. A unique and effortless style which never compromises on quality. A strong story that keeps on reinventing itself through the cosmopolitan tribe which wears it.
