Description

The 1461 is one of Dr. Martens’ most enduring silhouettes, built on decades of heritage and designed to develop more character with every wear. This version keeps the shape clean and understated, with subtle detailing that lets the materials and construction speak for themselves. Finished with a smoke DMS sole, black welt and thin round cord laces through blind eyelets, it offers a refined take on a true classic.

It is made from Classic Calf leather from C. F. Stead tannery in Leeds, a full-grain calf leather with a smooth, waxy finish and plenty of natural character. The upper is paired with a leather and textile lining, while the PVC sole is matched to Goodyear-welted construction, with the upper and sole heat-sealed and sewn together for long-term comfort and durability. Designed to feel supple from the first wear, the leather will continue to mould to the foot over time.
