Description
The Baracuta G9 Jacket is the original Harrington jacket and one of the most recognisable pieces in British outerwear, made in the UK since 1937. Cut in a slim fit, it has a neat, close silhouette that stays true to the classic shape, while raglan sleeves allow for easier movement. Signature details such as the umbrella back yoke, ribbed Dog Ear collar and diagonal buttoned pockets give it the unmistakable character that has made the G9 a cross-cultural icon.
Made from Baracuta’s signature cotton-blend Baracuta Cloth, the shell is finished with a WR treatment for water-repellent protection in unpredictable weather. Inside, the jacket features the iconic Fraser Tartan lining in breathable Coolmax® fabric, with an additional polyester sleeve lining for smooth layering. Ribbed cuffs and waistband help seal in warmth, while a two-way zip, internal pocket and deep front pockets reinforce the jacket’s practical, weather-ready design.

Baracuta G9.
The Baracuta G9 Archive jacket is inspired by the original Baracuta jacket designed in the 1950’s. Thanks to its Authentic Fit and the label on the pocket flap embellished with a seal that marks the vintage look, this historic garment differs from the G9 Classic. This item features Fraser Tartan inner lining made from breathable Coolmax® material.
Compared to the G9 Classic, the G9 Archive with its Authentic fit, is more generous in terms of body and sleeve volume, and slightly longer along the length of the body, yet has kept the same circumferences as the G9 Classic on the ribbing (stretch on the hips and cuffs).
