The Real Indigo Blanket Striped French Terry Crewneck is a heavyweight knit inspired by vintage denim trucker jackets, crafted with authentic indigo-dyed yarns that fade and evolve like raw denim. Weighing in at 563gsm (16.6oz), it’s built for durability and character, developing a patina unique to its wearer over time.

The fabric’s interior reveals a bold striped blanket pattern enriched with colourful neps, recalling the lining of heritage denim jackets. This contrast between the deep indigo exterior and textured, patterned interior adds rare depth and authenticity. Produced in Wakayama, Japan, on circular knitting machines, the low-gauge French terry offers both structure and comfort, with a smooth, sturdy face and traditional French loops on the inside.

The crewneck is cut to a modern athletic fit, with raglan sleeves for ease of movement, ribbed side panels, cuffs, and hem for structure, and flat seam construction for comfort and polish. A ribbed binder collar with a vintage-inspired inlaid V gusset completes the design. Expertly crafted in Japan, this piece combines striking aesthetics with enduring craftsmanship.
