The Grassmere is a civilised country boot that can cope with more rugged conditions.
The Grassmere is a popular choice amongst farmers. This toe capped 7 eyelet Derby ankle boot has a half bellows tongue and storm welt to keep you warm and dry, together with leather uppers and leather linings for comfort and a Ridgeway rubber stitched sole for a firmer grip.

The leather used is African Antelope Greater Kudu. Indigenous to a variety of African countries, Kudu is highly praised for their meat as well as their horns and are culled regularly for export, as well as local consumption, to the benefit of local communities. Trickers only purchase kudu leather in a limited amount and it is produced as a by-product of local food industries. Due to their grazing habits mainly amongst thorn trees, Kudu hide becomes scratched and scarred. These marks give the leather an inimitable character making each pair of shoes and boots unique.
We recommend using a neutral polish to maintain a pair of Kudu leather footwear.
This last has been used for decades. It is part of Trickers history and character as England's oldest shoe manufacturer.
The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (4497s) is true to size, we recommend sticking to your regular UK size.

Trickers shoes and boots are 100% made in their Northampton factory, the shoemaking capital of the world. They train and develop skilled craftspeople who live and breathe shoemaking, keeping an essential trade alive and well. You won’t find more skilled craftspeople than those within the Tricker’s Factory.
Tricker's were awarded the Royal Warrant in 1989 for shoemaking services to HRH The Prince of Wales. This was a result of years of service and something they are very proud of. The Royal Warrant is recognition of a business' quality across all aspects of what they do. This is includes quality of product, customer service, ethics and approach towards sustainable practices.
All sizing information is for guide purposes only.
Where possible we provide individual product size guides. If these aren't

differ from these measurements and we cannot guarantee the item you receive
