The 1944 N1 Deck Jacket in Waxed Khaki is a meticulous reproduction of one of the most iconic garments issued to U.S. Navy personnel during World War II. Worn from the beaches of Normandy to the islands of the Pacific, the N-1 became renowned for its warmth, durability, and weather resistance. This version faithfully captures the spirit of the original, featuring a dense double-faced “Jungle Cloth” outer shell made from 100% cotton, treated with three layers of wax for superior water resistance and a beautifully ageing patina. Inside, a 100% wool lining ensures insulation and comfort in harsh conditions. Finished with authentic 1940s details such as a bell-shaped Talon zipper, round knit wind cuffs, and a stand-up collar, this jacket stands as a true piece of naval and workwear history.
