This new addition to the Made in Germany collection serves as a contemporary counterpart to the iconic 215 T-shirt, crafted from a sturdy 230g/m² (6.8oz) jersey and knit on a rare, original circular knitting machine from the 1960s. While the 215 is known for its straight, tubular loopwheeled fit, the 2M15 is designed with side seams for a more tailored, organic silhouette that complements today’s body shapes.
Drawing design cues from the exceptional Mid-Century era, both styles effortlessly bridge old and new—equally at home paired with vintage denim or contemporary pieces. The standard-length 2M15 offers a classic cut. Triangle underarm inserts, side seams, and signature baseball stitching at the hem and sleeves refine the structure, creating a piece that's as timeless as it is practical.
Each shirt is made entirely from 100% organic cotton, promising breathable comfort and durability. Crafted with a two-thread method on a 26-inch diameter machine with wide needle spacing, this jersey fabric offers a uniquely substantial texture unlike anything produced on modern high-needle machines. It’s dependable, distinct, and unmistakably original.
