The Good On Flannel Check Sweat Shirt Jacket in scarlet blends the comfort of sweatshirt fleece with the depth and character of vintage flannel. Rather than using a woven check, the pattern is created through an advanced inkjet process printed directly onto the brand’s classic 9oz nap-back fleece — a cosy, tightly knit cotton fabric made in the USA. After the garment is sewn, it undergoes an additional overdye using reactive dye, muting the colours and giving the surface a soft, worn-in look that echoes the feel of heavyweight vintage flannel.
Built on Good On’s CPO-style sweatshirt jacket pattern, it works effortlessly as either a light outer layer or a warm mid-layer. Good on focuses on four key areas to ensure their range of wardrobe staples are the finest available; Material - Good On use only the highest quality American cotton - durable, soft and breathable. Manufacture - 100% made in Japan on traditional sewing machines.
Cutting - Every garment is produced with one of three cutting patterns to allow for the initial shrinkage, ensuring the product you receive is in its most shrunk state and fits perfectly, every time. Dyeing - A range of dying techniques including reactive, twice, yarn, and our favourite - pigment dyeing. Pigment dyeing shows off the texture of the fabric and gives an uneven finish. When worn and washed several times, the colour fades and you end up with a garment unique to you, with an authentic lived-in look.
