The Original Briefcase is Filson’s iconic everyday carry bag, built for work, travel and years of hard use. First introduced in 1994, it combines a trim, practical shape with durable heritage materials, making it a dependable choice for daily organisation and business travel.

It is made from waxed, industrial-strength 100% cotton Rugged Twill with premium Italian cow leather and solid brass hardware. The 2-ply by 3-ply twill offers excellent resistance to abrasion and wear, while the lightly waxed finish helps protect contents from wet weather. A double layer bottom, Tin Cloth bound interior seams, rustproof brass zipper, two external pockets and an adjustable removable leather shoulder strap complete the long lasting construction.
