When it comes to gloves, few brands boast as rich a history as Elmer. The brand's journey began in the late 19th century when the talented craftsman Elmer Little settled in the aptly named Gloversville in Upstate New York to perfect his glove-making skills.
Once known as 'Stump City', this small community in the Mohawk Valley gained fame for its glove-making and even earned the title of 'glove capital of the world'. It was the ideal location for Elmer to launch his brand, leading to the establishment of Elmer Little & Sons in 1893.
By blending high-quality deerskin leather with meticulous craftsmanship, Elmer quickly became one of the most prominent glove manufacturers in the United States, keeping countless hands warm and protected.
From ski gloves to baseball mitts, Elmer's designs have always been functional, durable, and distinct. Today, while they design their gloves in Japan rather than Gloversville, they continue to be crafted with the same exceptional quality that Elmer Little was known for. You're in good hands. Bloody good hands.
