Studio D’Artisan’s 9913 Tsuri-Ami Tee is a premium packaged T-shirt made in Japan, designed to showcase the depth and character of traditional Japanese circular knitting. Presented in an SDA-branded zip pack, it makes a strong everyday staple with a more considered feel, and also works well as a gift.

Made from 100% cotton, the fabric is knitted in Wakayama Prefecture on an old-fashioned hanging knitting machine, known as Tsuri-Ami. This slow process produces only around one metre of fabric per hour, but gives the T-shirt a distinctive texture, thickness and resilience that modern high-speed machines cannot easily replicate. The result is a tough, characterful cotton tee with lasting structure and a substantial hand feel.
