Inspired by the iconic MA-1 silhouette, this version stands apart through its unusual indigo-treated nylon fabric, creating a piece that blends traditional military styling with the character of indigo dye.

The 100% nylon fabric is coated with indigo pigment rather than woven with coloured yarn, giving the surface a unique texture and depth. This treatment produces natural unevenness and marks that cannot be replicated with standard nylon fabrics, adding visual character similar to indigo-dyed garments. The jacket is produced in Japan at a factory with historical ties to souvenir jackets made for U.S. soldiers stationed in Japan after World War II, continuing a legacy of skilled manufacturing. Circular knit ribbing is used for the cuffs and hem, providing comfort, flexibility and durability.
