Description

The Samurai Jeans SJST-TW01 is an extra heavyweight T-shirt built with the same fabric-first approach that defines the brand’s denim. Made in Japan, it offers the simple wearability of a classic tee with a much more substantial handle, giving it a rugged, dry and durable feel designed for long-term wear.

The fabric is made from two #10 yarns twisted together, creating a double yarn equivalent to #5 yarn. Samurai uses open-ended, or air-spun, yarn produced using the power of air, allowing thick staple fibres to be spun into a slubby yarn with a naturally dry texture. At 15.7oz, the jersey is exceptionally heavy and robust, woven with threads strong enough for heavyweight denim. Unlike sweatshirt fabric, it has no pile on the reverse, making it easier to wear across more of the year. The collar is finished with a two-needle binder neck for added strength and durability.
