Description

The Porter-Yoshida & Co. Mile Work Apron Bag is inspired by American tool bags and work aprons from the 1940s and 50s, reworking vintage utility into a practical everyday carry piece. Based on the shape and function of a work apron, it has been updated into a bag with multiple front pockets and an adjustable strap that allows it to be worn diagonally like a shoulder bag.

Made in Japan from nylon cotton twill, the fabric has a lightweight military feel with a subtle sheen created by the nylon threads on the surface. After sewing, the bag is washed so the outer and inner fabrics shrink differently, producing rippling, wrinkling and puckering that recalls vintage workwear. Shiny plated metal fittings add a refined contrast, while the zipped main compartment and front storage pockets keep everyday essentials organised.
