Description

The Secret Agent Denim is a distinctive interpretation of Japanese denim, created from a fabric that was nearly lost during development. After an entire lot was unintentionally water damaged in Japan, the indigo developed unevenly across the surface, giving the cloth an unusual starting point. Rather than discarding it, the fabric was reworked into something entirely new. Cut in the Weird Guy fit, these jeans offer a regular tapered silhouette with a medium rise, a standard thigh and a gentle taper from the knee to hem, making them an easy everyday shape with a clean, versatile profile.

The 14oz Japanese denim was carefully bleached at the fabric stage by a nearby Japanese dye house, transforming the damaged indigo into a pale, cloudy tone with a soft and consistent finish. Despite this process, the fabric still retains plenty of structure and durability, while offering improved drape and comfort from the outset. The jeans are cut and sewn without garment washing, and finished with a full-grain leather patch. Made in Canada, they stand as a thoughtful example of turning imperfection into character.
