The Ranger Short Cruiser is a hip-length waxed cotton jacket built for warmer weather, taking its shape from Filson’s bestselling Short Lined Cruiser. Lightweight, practical and easy to wear, it offers reliable everyday protection with a cut that allows easy access to pockets or a tool belt and stays comfortable when seated.

It is made from 7oz dry-waxed cotton from British Millerain, offering wind and rain resistance in a lighter, unlined construction. The washable dry-wax finish makes it easier to care for, while durable metal snaps secure the front, cuffs and hem tabs. Practical pocketing includes a snap-flap chest pocket, slotted chest pocket for penlights or pencils, and large bar-tack reinforced hand pockets.
