    Description

This seasons Hurricane II C draws inspiration from one of Cheaney's most classic archival designs, Hurricane, originally released in 2015 as part of Cheaney's 142 Aviator Collection. This men's military style derby boot features a 6 eyelet, capped toe detailing, full leather lining and has been updated for the season to feature a durable double commando rubber sole. The boots have also been finished in exotic Kudu leather, renowned for it's hardwearing structure but supple fit.

KUDU LEATHER - Kudu leather is the hide of a large species of antelope native to the woodlands of eastern and southern Africa. Due to their grazing patterns amongst thorny brush and the fact that all the hides originate from hunted, wild kudu, their hides will often display scars and scratches that makes each skin characteristically unique. The leather is incredibly strong but surprisingly supple, with a highly-textured, pebbled and glossy finish. This exotic leather will also age beautifully, with a distinctive patina forming with wear and natural scuffs and scrapes giving the footwear a rugged, vintage appearance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Footwear constructed using Kudu leather is extremely easy to care for and it is recommended to wipe away dirt with a clean cloth, store in cotton shoe or boots bags and use shoe trees to maintain their shape in between wears.

    Cheaney Shoes.

Joseph Cheaney established the company in 1886, and in 1896, along with his son Arthur, they moved to the site which the factory occupies today.
During the first 80 years of business, the factory made shoes exclusively for some of the finest retailers around the world, branded to their individual company requirements.

Northamptonshire is renowned as the home of quality English shoemaking, and Cheaney still leads the way with all styles still handmade in the original factory, using only the highest quality materials and the craftmanship and attention to detail they are renowned for.
